Contest Winner/BB Players

Oh wow, it’s been way too long since I’ve blogged anything. Just crazy busy and trying to catch up on work, now that my son’s play is over. So proud of my little Oliver. 
I had the pleasure of photographing every show of Oliver for BB Players this weekend at the wonderful Colony Theater in Burbank. 4 shows = about 3500 photos. If anyone is looking for me, I will be editing for the rest of my life. Just kidding – only for a couple of weeks…gotta get these done because I need to gear up for an event this weekend and a multitude of family portraits now that Spring has sprung.

In case you are all wondering 2 things: First, how did you pick and how do we know the contest was fair….and Second: What contest?!! Well, I used www.random.org to randomly generate the number. See screenshot below:
I had a whopping 12 people sign up to enter the contest. (insert sarcasm) But hey, the odds were better for those who entered, right? Each person was assigned a number, according to the order of how the signed up (obviously, Denise was number 1). I put the number 12 into the generator…out popped number 1. So, it’s as fair as I could make it! As for those of you who have NO clue as to what I’m talking about, I had a little table at the shows this weekend – promoting my work, etc…since I had photographed all the fine young actors in BB Players for head shots, and was taking all the production photos as well…and I offered a contest to anyone willing to sign up for my mailing list. So there you have it!
I had a blast photographing this play. The cast was amazing (a really nice mix between kids and adults) and I got some awesome shots, if I do say so myself. I hope to have them all completed in the next 2 weeks….I hope. Here’s a sampling of what is to come: (these are all from the 11 am show)
