A star in the making ~ Choice

I had the pleasure of shooting Choice’s head shots last week. I’ve watched her perform in numerous BB Players productions, and it was so fun to spend the afternoon laughing with her. She is a natural in front of the camera, and although she isn’t really interested in modeling…..I think she’d do extremely well in that field! But, alas, she has her sights set on theater and acting…and the girl can act! If she is this good at 11 (yes, she is only 11!) then I can only imagine how accomplished she will be in her teens….
I took a ton of photos and as usual ~ these are my favorites….

Hope these help get Choice a lot of work ~ although something tells me she will have a very long and prosperous career.

Oh, to be 13 again…..I remember MY 13th bday vividly….it was a dance party – and I thought I was the COOLEST kid in town because my parents let me have a dance party with BOYS – in my grandmother’s garage. Oh yeah, we did it super fancy down in Louisiana, circa 1983. Ugh….40 is this year. That’s a post for a different day. TODAY I am helping Kendall celebrate her Bat Mitzvah with portraits ~ I will be shooting her event this month, and I’m so glad I got a chance to photograph just her and her lovely smile beforehand. Seriously, she has the best smile ever. I’m posting lots ~ but I like them all, so couldn’t narrow it down anymore than this.
