B Family

This was one of the best family shoots…..not only because the kids are just so darn sweet and adorable. Mainly – because Maddy, the older sister, did all of this as a surprise for her parents. Yeah, she’s a junior in High School ~ how amazing is that? She contacted me a few months ago to set it up ~ thought it would be a great gift for her Mom and Dad. Omg, I hope my kids are this thoughtful when they are her age!!!! The sweetest part? Her relationship with her younger brother reminds me so much of my own with my lil’ bro (who is like a grown man now. *tear*) I just love them – look how cute they are! Oh, and Maddy has been riding horses now for years ~ we were able to get her amazing horse in some of these too 
I hope her family likes these as much as I do.

I’m so excited about Amanda’s photos….really had a blast with her. Some people are so photogenic it’s ridiculous. Ridiculous!!! Cannot take a bad photo of this girl…seriously. I especially love the ones of her looking down – those are the “omg, I can’t believe this photographer just asked me to do that stupid thing…did she just almost fall off her step stool?” Yeah, my clients just think I’m hilarious, let me tell ya. Little do they know, it’s all part of my master plan to get shots like that! The wind was fierce on the day of our shoot….thus the windblown look in lots of her photos – but it really works in a lot of them. Sometimes you just gotta go with it.
