Winding down summer with another beautiful Santa Clarita Senior from Saugus High School on the blog today. It might be October, but it’s just now getting a tad cooler! *wipes brow*
When we shot Kayla’s pics, it was a balmy 98 degrees 
But you could never tell ~ she still looks gorgeous, thanks in part to Jami Cox, Makeup Artist. Here’s some of my favorites:

Like most people, it had been years and years…..and years…. since the Franke’s last family portrait. It’s amazing how fast time flies, isn’t it?! Instead of letting it slip by even more, Maureen called months ahead of time and set up an appointment to shoot her family session in September. Once it’s on the calendar, you make it happen….just like anything else! So there we were….at Placerita Canyon, on a Sunday afternoon….warm sunshine (read: it was HOT) & no less than 5 million bugs. No kidding….it was a bugfest. {Note to self: do not shoot there in late summer EVER AGAIN}
Ah well…it did make for some great photos though! Here’s some of my faves:
