Class of 2012 ~ You’ve arrived!
Posted on July 13, 2011
Thought I’d put out a quick post regarding 2012 Senior Portraits shoots. I’ve been getting tons of calls and emails lately asking about availability, pricing, and whether I’m the school’s contracted photographer or not.
I’m not contracted with any schools in the valley, and therefore do not provide any cap/gown or drape photos that you still need from your school’s contracted photographer.
What I provide is something different. Something unique. Something fun.
My shoots are a tad non-traditional. Yes, we get shots that your grandmother will love, but my shoots are more like a fashion shoot than anything else. I try and customize each session so that no two are exactly alike. Yes, we may shoot at the same location, but we’ll get something different.
We shoot only on location ~ we can either collaborate on this or I can come up with something suited to what you are looking for. Professional makeup application is included (before and during) in every session, and I also help coordinate your wardrobe. More than anything, we have a great time. This is an experience for YOU. Yes, you have to get a yearbook photo from your school’s photographer. But you DO have a choice for your personality shots ~ and my shoots are ALL about your personality!
I want this to be special for you; unique to you. This time in your life is fleeting ~ your Senior Year goes by in a whirlwind. Take the time to capture this time ~ you won’t regret it.
All sessions also include a print credit and a complimentary digital yearbook photo of your choice. I also design senior pages if you want something even more unique.
If you are thinking of booking a session, slots are filling fast ~ I am currently full until mid September. I will be out of town July 15 – August 8, so make sure you contact me before I leave so we can get you on the books!
I’ve updated my Senior Portrait site with all my 2012 Senior Reps so check it out ~ there is more info regarding shoots, etc. on there:

psst: if you get a REP CODE from any of my reps, you get a discount off your session
Mayu ~ Senior Rep 2012
Posted on July 11, 2011
Mayu first contacted me about being a Senior Rep last year! I promised her I’d keep her posted when it was time to submit for Class of 2012 reps and here she is! Aside from being obviously gorgeous (hello, her skin is ridiculous!), she’s so easy to work with, totally up for any crazy idea (see below), and super photogenic.
Once again, FRESH Boutique provided outfits for her ~ I love that floral top!!
I thought we’d try something different (read: crazy/weird) ~ wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, but brought along some Gerber daisies to play with. Let me know what you think of these….everything is an experiment! If you’re a photographer, I encourage you to keep trying new and crazy ideas. Even if they don’t “work”, you still learn in the process.
