WPPI ~ new friends & head shots

I decided I’d offer free head shots to two people this year at WPPI ~ I figured it would be a good way to meet new peeps and help other photographers out. So often, we find ourselves with no photos of ourselves!!

Random number generator chose Bob & Priscilla Rathbone of Rathbone Images in Seattle and Jessica Frey from Bakersfield. I’ve been a twitter friend of Jessica’s for about a year, so it was nice to finally have an excuse to meet her. And I was more than happy to shoot some of the adorable Rathbones together!

It was fun getting to know these guys for a little while and getting some images that they can hopefully use for their biz.

WPPI Head Shots | Paying it Forward

I love WPPI. I love shooting head shots (it’s how I started in this whole photography thing eons ago). I especially love paying it forward.

Put all those together and you get 2 free head shot sessions during WPPI 2011. Why?

I was straight up given a registration to the conference ~ by someone I don’t even know ~ truly the beauty of the internet and “the” twitter, right there, folks. The lovely Amy Nicole aka @AmyNTheStudio of Sacramento had a registration to give away and I was the first to respond (did I mention I am on this computer literally every single second of my life?). Anyway, I thought I should do something to pay it forward…and this is my way of doing that.

So, we’re all photographers and we all need up to date awesome shots for our blog, facebook, twitter, etc…..here’s your chance. Gonna give away two head shot sessions; here are the details:

Sessions will take place on Wednesday February 23rd between noon and 2pm at WPPI in Vegas
Session lasts 30-45 minutes; one outfit
10-15 final images – retouched & ready to go – via digital download within 3 weeks of conference, including copyright release
online gallery of images as well
